If you haven’t tried out Black Ops Cold War’s first Zombies map yet, we strongly recommend giving it a shot.The latest Zombies map to be added to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is called 'Mauer der Toten,' meaning "Wall of the Dead." The Black Ops Cold War Zombies maps are surprisingly story-heavy, and this one sees the members of peacekeeping force Requiem forced to build a warhead to close the Dark Aether portal that was opened in Berlin by traitorous scientist Aleksandra Valentina. We played several co-op games on 'Mauer der Toten,' and we even found out how to unlock the robot, Klaus. It’s easy enough for new players to get accustomed to the mechanics of Call of Duty Zombies, while also providing a challenge for veterans to see how far they can make it. Whether you’re a longtime Zombies fan or a complete noob, Die Maschine is a fun map. Some of the options that you should prioritize upgrading include Juggernog, Stamin-Up, Ring of Fire, and Brain Rot. You can use these crystals to upgrade skills, such as weapon classes, field upgrades, perks, and ammo mods, in between games. Aetherium Crystals are items awarded to players for reaching “milestone rounds” (every five rounds after you finish round 10) or successfully completing an exfil.The Knife is also a one-hit kill for several rounds and is great at giving you as many points as possible, but it’s a little riskier to use when you have a large group of zombies and you need to get up close and personal to melee them. The Gallo SA12 shotgun is one of the best default weapons you can choose. You can use any of the default Black Ops Cold War guns and they’ll obviously be effective in the early rounds, but some options are better than others. When you’re initially starting a game on Die Maschine, you’ll get to pick a custom loadout similar to multiplayer.From these Crafting Tables, you can use your Salvage to create useful items like Cymbal Monkeys or even a Chopper Gunner-two items you should have at all times during high-round runs. You should also make sure to use the various Crafting Tables spread across the map as often as possible.These are both essential features to your long-term survival on Die Maschine. You can interact with this mannequin to upgrade your weapon tier or buy and upgrade armor. Take advantage of the Arsenal located in the Particle Accelerator room.
